The production of Alpine A610 Turbo, last model of Alpine, isn't very high. The most optimistic of us estimate it's around 818 cars. Among this production, one counts 2 models Albertville 92, 30 or 31 Magny-Cours and also 2 Alpine A610 Evolution !

For performances, with 250 cv only, Alpine A610 Turbo offered already very high performances, worthy of Porsche 911 Turbo, Honda NSX, Venturi 260 or Ferrari 348.

 

Ever marketed, these two specimens are in fact of the very well finished prototypes, very close to marketable models.

For mechanical side, nothing visible, if it is not the hooping of the hose connections of air. Close to 280Bhp all the same, but especially more 43mkg of couple with approximately 3000 trs/mn, by modification of the pressure the turbo one, and change of the wastegate. This important couple was sometimes judged too much raises for the unmodified gear box.

These two cars are equipped with 8 and 10" Gotti rims, for only 16 inches height. The general aspect (widened wings) takes as a starting point that of Alpine GT Turbo Le Mans. These two models are also equipped with an aileron whose esthetics is debatable. The side air intake is also modified.

The first, Green Scarabée 592, visible régulièrment at the time of Alpine demonstrations, was given by the Alpine factory to Renault Historique and Collection departement. It is besides strange to note that it is this car which illustrates Internet site of Renault!

The Blue one is still somtimes visible at Alpine factory in Dieppe, it was used by Jacques Martin, general manager of Alpine in Dieppe between 1985 and1998. This car was presented and proposed with the Managementl of Renault. The project proposed to launch for the last Alpine A610, a numbered and personalized series. Marketing would have been carried out by Alpine to Dieppe. The project was refused and that put a final term at the short life of Alpine A610 Turbo.


 

Lastly, there is still another Alpine A610 Turbo Evolution manufactured by the factory of Dieppe: a red one with the serial number 85612. Viewed in company of Daniel Vue at Zolder, in 2004, this car was modified later according to same specifications. It also raises a different aileron, more impressive born from the inspiration of Daniel. Vue itself.


 

Other models Evolutions?
Other Alpine A610 Turbo were modified by different passioned or professionnesl specialists of Alpine, Hamelin Garage in particular. A proof that this evolution would have been very appreciated by Alpine fans.
