 September,
the 19th, 1998 : STARC Aquitaine celebrates 100 years of Renault.
Among Renault festivities, many Renault Garages of Bordeaux area and
STARC Aquitaine organised a rally. Up to 25 teams were present.
-
At morning :
After a free breakfast and some welcome message, we started from
Gradignan at 10.00 for 80km.
We could see many cars models :some Alpine A110, A310 4 and
6 cylinders, Alpine V6GT Turbo, Renault 12 Gordini, Reanult 17 Gordini,
Matra Djet, some Renault 5 Turbo and a Renault Spider.

At 13.00 :
The Renault Moretto and Dayon's Garage of Leognan welcome us for
a free and very symathic lunch.

At afternoon :
Near 15.00, a big part of the saturday, a cartographic special.
Up to 125 km, mean of 50 km/h. The Renault garages were the control
points.The arrival was fixed at Renault Pont de la Maye garage at
Villenave d'Ornon.

At evening :
After many calculations - 6 teams were in the same time at the arrival,
M. Le Mevel, Renault Pont de la Maye Garage Manager congratulated
the winners , in this order:

Keskess-Keskess-Keskess team, 1rst with
an Alpine A310 V6 Pack GT
-
Freyssange-Freyssange team (11 years old
copilote), 2nd with an Alpine A110 1300S
-
Bonin-Bonin team, 3rd with Renault 17 Gordini
-
Miss. Keskess, better copilote.

Near 20.30 :
All teams came to a very sympathic dinner.
