A very strange car ! a new Clio ?
Renault Clio Sport 1.9 dCi ! A perfect illustration of how Renault
has mastered diesel technology. With the help of Renault Sport, this
particular is on mission to promote the dCi range.
It is powered by the common-rail diesel engine that will appear with
the Laguna 2 dCi.
This four-cylinder turbo with variable timing and a latest-generation,
high-pressure fuel pump, yields more than 220bhp and 40m/kg of torque.

The six-speed sequential gearbox was developed by Sadev on behalf of
Renault Sport and has already been seen on the Clio V6 Trophy.
Last but not least, this very special race-bred Renault has carbon
discs and brakes that were designed in partnership with Carbone Industrie.
